Donk Pro Tournament Rules
The following rules apply to head-to-head singles match play.
OBJECTIVE
- First player to reach 21 points wins.
EQUIPMENT
- 2 DONKs (fully inflated)
- Official DONK Pro Scoring Mat
- Toss Line: 5 ft wide; 5 ft from scoring mat
REFEREE
- Neutral third party
- Keeps score, awards Style Bonus, settles disputes
- Referee decisions are final
OPENING
- DONKs kiss (tap snouts)
- Referee selects leadoff throw
PLAY FORMAT
- Each round: 1 throw per player
- First throw goes to player who scored last
- Play continues until win condition is met
LEGAL TOSS
- Do not hold DONK by tail or ears
- Throw from behind and within toss line
- Minimum 1 full rotation
- DONK must touch scoring mat
- Illegal toss = 0 points
SCORING POSITIONS
- Feet down → 2 pts
- Snout down → 3 pts
- Immaculate DONK (upside down) → Win pending Farewell Toss
- Sitting DONK (butt + tail) → Sudden DONK (instant win)
SCORING MODIFIERS
- Center Spot: Touching center hex = 2× score
- Style Bonus: +1 per toss (ref discretion)
- Leaner: DONK leaning on a scoring DONK steals its points
CANCELLATION SCORING
- Scoring occurs after both throws
- Only one player scores per round
- Higher score cancels the lower
- Round score = point difference
KNOCK-OUT
- Second tosser may collide with opponent’s DONK
- Attacking DONK must land in a scoring position
- If attacker fails to score: opponent keeps higher of original or final score
- Not allowed during Farewell Toss
FAREWELL TOSS
- Triggered by an Immaculate DONK
- Opponent gets one response toss
- Must land Immaculate DONK or Leaner to continue
- No Knock-Outs allowed
SKUNK RULE
- 13–0 ends the match immediately

- Unpack your DONK Pro Kit – it should include: 2 Donks, 1 DONK Pro Scoring Mat, Donkflator air pump
- INFLATION: Inflate the DONK Pro using the Donkflator Pump. How Much air? When the snout feels firm, your DONK Pro is near proper PSI. Do not over inflate!
- Lay out your DONK Pro Scoring Mat on a flat, level surface.
- Mark the TOSS LINE- line 5 feet from the front point of the mat. make it 5ft wide.
